At the age of 12, Yuri began training at Temecula Dance Company. She trained simultaneously in several genres including ballet, jazz, contemporary, and hip-hop. When she was 16, she joined the studio’s competitive program and began competing throughout Southern California. Currently, she is a member of a competitive adult hip-hop team known as GNA, which is based in Orange at the “Offstage by GRV” dance studio.
Yuri’s love for dance exceeds beyond the studio walls. She views dance as a gift that should be shared and enjoyed by others. She loves to combine her faith and love for dance and uses it as an opportunity to shine the light of Jesus Christ to everyone she encounters.
In her free time, she loves to direct, choreograph, and perform. She hopes that through sharing her gift of dance to live audiences and social media users alike, she can spread the healing, truth, joy, and love of God.
