Competitive Programs

Temecula Dance Company offers two levels of competitive programs for dancers of all ages and levels. Our Competitive Intensive Program (CIP) is designed as an onramp to our higher level Company teams.

Both programs are taught by our high-quality TDC staff, require dancers to train in multiple styles of dance, and provide opportunities for dancers to compete at regional and national competitions.

COMPETITIVE INTENSIVE PROGRAM (CIP)

Dancers are selected through an audition process
Technique training in a minimum of 2 styles
Dancers 8 & under train an avers of 2-3 hours per week, dancers 9 & up train an average of 3-5 hours per week
2 local competitions & 1 National competition
Optional attendance at a dance convention
Opportunities to participate in master classes
July recital performances

COMPANY TEAM

Dancers are selected from the Competitive Intensive Program (CIP)
Technique training in ALL styles required
Dancers 8 & under train an average of 8 hours per week, and dancers ages 9 & up train an average of 12-15 hours per week
4 local competitions & 1 National competition
Mandatory dance convention
Mandatory master classes throughout the season
July recital performances
