Sophia started dancing at the young age of three. She started competing with Temecula Dance Company’s competitive team at the age of four and immediately fell in love with performing. She trained for 15 years in all styles of dance but found her true passion in tap and musical theater. Naturally, she began to venture her studies further into the performing arts by participating in several plays and musicals within the community. Once she began high school, Sophia was selected to be a member of Great Oak High School’s varsity dance team and she began her role as a private instructor for TDC. After several years assisting with the studio’s competitive routines, she was asked to teach her own classes. Sophia could not wait to teach her students about the one thing she had always loved most: dance!  She has recently graduated from Palomar College with three associate degrees and is now a student at California State University San Marcos working towards her Bachelors Degree in Psychological Sciences. Sophia has always viewed Temecula Dance Company as her second home which makes her love for her coworkers, students and dance family effortless.
