Temecula Dance Company

Kathleen Wedell is one of the Studio Managers at Temecula Dance Company where she helps coordinate day-to-day operations of the studio, costume purchasing and the overall production of our annual recital. Working behind the scenes, as well as with the dancers, gives her a greater appreciation for the dance world. Kathleen found a passion for dance at the early age of four. She continued dancing in various organizations until high school, where she became a member of her high school dance team, competing throughout Southern California and winning various awards. Kathleen went on to pursue her dance education at California State University, Long Beach, where she was a member of the award-winning Long Beach State dance team, and graduated with a Bachelors of Fine Arts degree in Dance. While at Long Beach State, she received professional training in ballet, jazz and modern dance from many talented professors of dance, as well as special training in creative dance for children, stage lighting for dance and concert production. She has also performed and choreographed for the American College Dance Festival. Kathleen has been teaching at Temecula Dance Company for the past 9 years. She is happily married to her high school sweetheart, Michael and is the proud mother of her two wonderful kids, Chase (4) and Ardyn (2).
