Carrie's love for dance began as a young child. Although jazz is her favorite style of dance, she also has extensive training in tap, ballet, lyrical and gymnastics. She credits her training to Julie Rhoton, Keri LeGrand, and Ray Leeper while training at Inspirations Performing Arts Center and The Edge. Her love for teaching dance began at Temecula Dance Company in 1998. Carrie currently teaches competition teams and all levels of jazz. Her choreography and teams have been recognized throughout the years through choreography awards and top honors in the Top 10 and National Dance-Offs. Her students can be seen in national commercials, the Just Dance video games, and the musical, Billy Elliot. While receiving her Bachelor’s degree in Child Adolescent Studies, Carrie also competed on California State University Fullerton’s national award-winning dance team and was awarded dance team member of the year. In addition, she completed her Master’s degree and earned a second credential as a reading specialist. She is currently teaching first grade in Menifee and is enjoying the new addition to her family...a baby boy named Andrew.
