Kate Fox
Kate Fox has been dancing for the past
25 years and teaching for the last 10 years. She enjoys
all styles of dance including ballet, jazz, lyrical, musical
theater, and modern. Her primary training was at Kane
Dance Academy, with additional training from The Edge, The
Joffrey Ballet, and the University of California, San Diego.
She holds a degree in Theatre Dance as well as Communications
from the University of California, San Diego. She has
received various top awards for her performances, as well
as her choreography. Kate traveled nationally for several
years as a professional instructor, choreographer, and judge
for Dupree Dance Conventions & Competitions. She has
taught for the San Diego Dance Institute, which involved
partnering with school districts to provide movement and
performance opportunities for inner city youth. Kate
has her teaching credential from University of California,
Riverside and has four years of second grade teaching experience. She
has a wonderful husband, John, and two beautiful sons, Jonathan
and Logan.
